Like many African-American families, our journey began with questions about our origins, our ancestors, and the legacy that was initiated long before we arrived. After months of persistence from my inquisitive daughter, Asia, our family embarked on a quest through ancestry.com to uncover our roots. What we discovered was both eye-opening and humbling…
…It became evident that while we may not be able to reclaim every detail of where we've been, we hold complete authority and responsibility over where we are headed. And for our family, that path is clear. We are called to serve. We are called to love. We are called to give.
The Denson Family Legacy Foundation was not just established to preserve our name; it was built to create an impact through community support. Our aim is to ensure that every individual created in the image of God receives nourishment. We strive to turn faith into action and our family legacy into philanthropy.
